Baby Girl Brooklyn's First Day | Bay Area Newborn Photographer

Brooklyn-Fresh-48-hospital-San-Jose-And-San-Francisco-Bay-Area-Documentary-Newborn-Photographer-1Baby girl Brooklyn was 9 hours new when I headed to the hospital for a Fresh 48 newborn session. Mom and dad were super tired as was expected, and little Brooklyn was waiting to get her first bath.

I thought naming a girl baby after where her mom used to live was really clever; such a cute way to incorporate some history in the name for someone who has moved across the country.[gallery targetsize="full" captions="show" bottomspace="none" gutterwidth="20" columns="1" size="full" ids="5772,5773,5774,5775,5776,5777,5778,5787,5779,5794,5780,5781,5783,5782,5784,5785,5786,5788,5789,5790,5791,5792,5793"]

Fresh 48 sessions at the hospital are just the most amazing sessions. Observing first-time parents admire and love on their new baby is just one of the best experiences. A lot of people wonder how on earth the mom has energy for a "photo shoot" so close to birth, but through a documentary approach all of the need for photo session prep goes away. Taking photos of how things naturally unfold is where the magic really lies. The photographer being in the room is no obstacle for a nap!
