Three girls and a frame – the frame of their new home that is!

A few weeks back I was so lucky to do a session with a family I've photographed a few times before (birth, Fresh 48 newborn session, and family). With a full schedule in October I was hesitant to book an extra session, but when Kaitlyn told me that they wanted to do a picnic visit to their future home before the walls go up – well, how could I say no?

Construction sites are no joke especially when you have three kiddos and a corgi roaming the property. Arianna could not resist running, Ava was investigating everything, and little Amelia was super-concerned about the dog not being on leash.

he craziness lead to some timeouts and tears, but ultimately ended in lots of snuggled-up giggles.

I could not help but feel disappointed in myself after the session – I tell families that my sessions are relaxed and hassle-free which did not apply to this afternoon 100%. When I mentioned this to Kaitlyn, she assured me that they love the pictures – "it is definitely a true picture of our family crazy and all over the place!"
